Ventura College freshman outfield prospect Steele Ledford bats for the Pirates during a February 6, 2018 CCCAA junior college baseball game against the Los Angeles Mission College Eagles on the road at El Cariso Park in Sylmar, Los Angeles, California. A freshman from Thousand Oaks, California, Steele Ledford is the best athlete on the Ventura College baseball team according to the coaching staff; he's already being sought after as a possible MLB Draft follow in 2018, though it's more likely he'll be selected in the draft in 2019 or beyond after he further refines his offensive approach as a top-of-the-order lineup threat who can run and set the table. In this video, you can see the Ventura College freshman outfielder Steele Ledford bat five times during that February 6th game at Los Angeles Mission College, as well as watch a few slow-motion swing clips to get a better sense of his swing mechanics.

BaseballCensus.com provides the highest quality, most in-depth publicly available video coverage of minor league baseball prospects across all levels and affiliates from all thirty Major League organizations. We cover minor league prospects all across the country and all year round, from spring training through the full summer season and on into fall instructional leagues and the Arizona Fall League in October and November. In our first season alone, 2017, Baseball Census published videos of more than 1,500 minor league prospects at all levels — from Triple-A to rookie leagues — and all leagues and locations — from the International League to the Arizona League. We’re increasingly focused on publishing prospect video of amateur (high school, junior college, college) baseball prospects ahead of the MLB Draft, as well.
All of our videos are shot in pristine 1080p high definition and edited professionally, which consistently gives us the best and highest-quality videos that are publicly available anywhere. Furthermore, we’re on-location covering more than 200 games every year, which allows us to publish deeper, longer, and more insightful scouting videos than the short and poorly-shot clips one typically finds on YouTube.
We publish between three and eight new baseball prospect videos every single day of the year — far more than any other outlet covering baseball prospects — and we’re proud to have produced 500,000 views and over 16,000 hours of watch time in just our first calendar year on YouTube in 2017. By the end of 2018, we’ll have published videos of nearly 4,000 different prospects from all 30 Major League organizations and a handful of amateur teams.
